Yishai: Aid package needed for southern communities

Interior Minister Eli Yishai instructed his office Monday to consider an aid package for southern communities in order to meet infrastructural and restorative demands for buildings damaged by the recent rocket fire from Gaza, Army Radio reported. He also said there needed to be medical and psychological services provided for those personally affected by incoming rocket fire.

According to Yishai, a flexible budget is needed to address the issues facing southern residents. The budget plan is expected to be announced within the next couple of weeks.
