1 million tourists pass through Ben-Gurion airport in June
The numbers indicate a 19-percent growth compared to June 2007.

The Israel Airports Authority reported new records on Sunday in passenger traffic to and from Israel, with more than one million international passengers.
According to the authority, 1,027,115 passengers left and entered Israel through Ben-Gurion Airport during June - a 19-percent growth compared to June 2007 - and 7,604 international flights landed and took off at Israel's airports, a growth of 21%.
A total of 408,693 passengers flew with Israeli carriers in June, a 6.3% growth from 2007. Sky Airlines, Arkia and Delta boasted the highest increase in operation compared to last year, while Alitalia had the sharpest decrease (-24.8%).
A 16.6% decrease was reported in domestic traffic - 33,318 passengers flew domestic, compared to 39,961 during June 2007.
Also, 87,662 passengers flew to Antalya Airport in June, and Turkey had the highest volume of operation; 153,766 passengers - 15% of the month's general traffic - flew to Turkey during that time, a growth of 78.2%.
The sharpest decrease was reported in traffic to Croatia (-25.3%), and to Romania (-6%).
