The city of Dallas has chosen Ra'anana-based Nice Systems to improve emergency response and customer service at its communications center, Nice said Wednesday. Nice will install its interaction analytics and IEX workforce management solutions at the center, which handles both 911 (emergency) and 311 (non-emergency) calls for the city. Nice has partnered with several other companies, including PlantCML, on the project. Dallas has more than 1.2 million people and its 911/311 center is staffed by 250 telecommunications service specialists who handle more than 2 million calls each year.
