Uriel Lynn, president of the Federation of Israeli Chambers of Commerce, said Wednesday he is opposed to the proposed return policy rule that Industry, Trade and Labor Minister Eli Yishai presented to the Justice Ministry on Monday. Under the terms of Yishai's proposal, customers will be able to receive their full money back on a return of a purchase so long as the product is not used or damaged and the customer brings it back within 21 days of the purchase date. Lynn claimed the proposed rule would damage business owners and that it contradicts the country's law of sales and contracts.
