15 new research projects approved

The chief scientist's office of the Industry, Trade and Labor Ministry announced on Sunday the contribution of some NIS 1.1m. to be earmarked for 15 new research and development projects.

The chief scientist's office of the Industry, Trade and Labor Ministry announced on Sunday the contribution of some NIS 1.1m. to be earmarked for 15 new research and development projects. An additional NIS 200,000 has already been contributed by the office itself, with this new amount coming from the government's R&D fund. Included among the projects, reported Chief Scientist Dr. Eli Opper, are seven in the communications and information sector, five in the life sciences field and three in the area of electronics.
