National Infrastructures Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer said Thursday that Israel's alternative energy sector is standing at a critical juncture in its development. "If we want to insure that our future generations have sufficient energy, we must focus more of our collective efforts on building up our alternative energy resources," he said at a conference on Clean Energy Technology, sponsored by the Israel Energy Institute. Ben-Eliezer highlighted the current alternative energy projects that the Infrastructures Ministry is currently undertaking, including solar fields in the Negev and plans for an alternative energy park near Eilat.
