Emblaze Mobile buys interest in GTD

GTD is a major distributor of multimedia handsets in Europe and has worked with major retail and sales partners as well as networks including Three, O2, Orange, T-Mobile and Vodafone.

Ra'anana-based Emblaze said Tuesday its mobile handset manufacturing subsidiary Emblaze Mobile has acquired a strategic interest in UK-based Global Telecoms Distribution (GTD). The company did not give details of the agreement but said that it would have a "negligible impact on cash reserves." GTD is a major distributor of multimedia handsets in Europe and has worked with major retail and sales partners as well as networks including Three, O2, Orange, T-Mobile and Vodafone. Emblaze expects the deal to accelerate Emblaze Mobile's expansion in Europe as its prime target market.
