Life Sciences and Health Care leaders from around the world are in Israel for the annual Health Care Technological Innovation conference at Tel Aviv University from November 11-13 - the first time the prestigious conference is being held in Israel. Included among the representatives are Peter Pitts, president of the Center for Medicine the Public Interest' Stanton Rowe, senior VP of the medical equipment company Edwards Lifesciences; and Daniel Troy of the Food & Drug Administration. The three-day program focuses on the critical elements in the formation, launch, and strategic and operational management of health-related technologies, with a particular focus on companies working in medicinal biotechnology, enabling technologies for life-science research, and medical devices used in human diagnosis and treatment.
