Kuwaiti court orders stock exchange closed

A stock broker attorney says that a Kuwaiti court has ordered the temporary closure of the country's plummeting stock exchange. Lawyer Adel al-Abdul Hadi says the Administrative Court in Kuwait City ruled on Thursday that all trading be halted. The order takes effect immediately and is to last until next court hearing on November 17. The decision comes after traders staged demonstrations, went to court - and even tried to meet with the Gulf country's ruler on the issue.
