Return policy under discussion

The proposal was drawn up after Yishai met with various customer and business representatives and it does not include the option of returning food products, medicine or custom-designed products.

Industry, Trade and Labor Minister Eli Yishai presented to the Justice Ministry on Sunday a draft of his proposed rule that will allow customers to receive their full money back on a return of a purchase so long as the product is not used or damaged and the customer returns it within 21 days of the purchase date. The proposal was drawn up after Yishai met with various customer and business representatives and it does not include the option of returning food products, medicine or custom-designed products. Additionally, the proposal includes a clause that stipulates that customers do not have to continue to receive services that they are no longer interested in receiving.
