Prayers answered So I made it through the Yom Kippur fast and, more importantly, I made it through the liturgy. As a rule I do not like praying just in Hebrew since I really do not understand what I am saying. Therefore, in addition to my standard nusach sephard machzor, I bring along my Hebrew-English (nusach Ashkenaz) machzor so I can look back and forth from the Hebrew to the English. Things take longer, but I sure want to know what I am confessing to the great Almighty and what requests I am making for myself and for the Jewish people.
