Two people were injured Friday during an explosion in the southern Lebanese towns of Srifa and Deir Kifa, Lebanese newspaper The Daily Star reported.The report suggested that the explosion may have been caused by an IDF drone, but also speculated that it was a result of a cluster bomb.RELATED:Opinion: All eyes on HezbollahIDF continues to train for war with HezbollahMeanwhile, a website linked to Hezbollah reported that the IDF bombed a spy facility after it was discovered by the terror group, Army Radio reported.According to the report by The Daily Star, residents said that prior to the explosion, an IDF reconnaissance plane was heard flying over south Lebanon.The explosion was believed to have occurred near a Hezbollah arms facility, Lebanese security sources told the newspaper.The incident came days after four 122-millimeter rockets were fired from southern Lebanon, just north of the border, and landed in the Western Galilee. No one was hurt in Tuesday's attack but the rockets caused extensive damage to a chicken coop and a propane gas tank, which went up in flames. IDF artillery responded by pounding the launch sites.Lebanese security sources confirmed that four rockets were fired into Israel from an area between the villages of Aita Shaab and Rumaysh, about 2 km. from the border.An organization associated with al- Qaida claimed responsibility.IDF sources said Hezbollah did not appear to be behind the attacks and that the Islamist group was not believed to be interested right now in a large-scale conflict with Israel. Responsibility for previous rocket attacks from Lebanon – the last was in 2009 – was claimed by radical Palestinian terror groups. Yaakov Katz contributed to this report.
