Culture and Sport Minister Limor Livnat accused Opposition leader Tzipi Livni on Monday, of taking an interest in the issue of women's exclusion, simply because of the approaching primaries."Livni never thought the issue of women's status was important. She argued that Livni, "voted against bills that would have benefited women... but suddenly she is a woman. Did anyone hear her speak out about increasing the pension age for women above 62? No. But suddenly she is a woman."Earlier on Monday, Livni voiced her opinion on the issue at an emergency meeting at the Knesset concerning the exclusion of women."The Israeli government represents today a world view and political agreements that allow all the social phenomena that we are witnessing. It's not just an issue for women and we're not just talking about law enforcement, but an entire set of morals and ideologies that we must fight," she stated.
