Thai police on Wednesday arrested a dual Hungarian-Israeli citizen suspected of murdering a business partner and dumping his body in a rubber plantation in Phuket, the Bangkok Times reported.According to the Times, police on Sunday issued an arrest warrant for 35-year-old Moshe David, who also goes by the name Andras Ngmgth Gabor, after the body of Peter Reize was found last Friday.Authorities launched a manhunt after David before arresting him Wednesday.Immigration police were questioning David and were expected to transfer him to the province where the alleged murder took place. Police were still seeking a man accused of being David's accomplice. The Times said the two men ran a business together on the island of Koh Samui, and police believe the killing followed a dispute over a land deal worth some 15 million baht, or nearly a half a million US dollars. The paper also stated that Reize had filed a complaint with police back in November, saying that David had threatened to kill him.On Monday the Times ran a story saying that police questioned the Thai wife of David, who they refer to as “her common-law Hungarian husband.” The report said police see her as a possible accomplice to the killing, and believe that at least two other people were involved in the crime.
