'If Arabs REALLY wanted peace they'd agree to "Jewish State" just to make Israelis happy'

Kreminsky, Israel Text: What Pipes is saying is that recognizing Israel as "Jewish" only serves as a test of Arab intentions. OK, insisting that outsiders recognize Israel as "Jewish" may be stupid and nonsensical, but if the Arabs REALLY wanted to make peace they would go along with it just to make the Israelis happy. What's the big deal? The Vatican City is a state, and we recognize it as a "Catholic state", even though that's diplomatic nonsense. Why not Israel as a "Jewish state"? What do you think?
