TODAY'S HOT POTATO: Taken from article: Our World: Iran's American protector Talkback #: 36 Talkbacker: Nigel Text: US was only ever a fair-weather friend of Israel, and has always tried to control Israeli military operations by threatening not to restock arms/ammo. But why expect anything else? US has its own interests, and will support Israel only insofar as its interests are seen to be served. US was founded on non-interventionism and having no entangling alliances! Why does it surprise so many when it endeavours to return to its foundations as isolationist with friendship extended for trade purposes only?
