Four children from the Galilee village of Ibtin have been infected with hepatitis A. Three of the children are pupils at the local school, and two are related.
The district health office has sent the children's family members to be inoculated, and on Sunday all pupils in grades 4-8 will be inoculated at school.
The Health Ministry believed that the source of the infection was an open sewage stream near the school, and has asked that the matter be addressed.
