The Haifa Municipality will repair and upgrade its main sewerage line, during which some sewage will run into the Mediterranean on Monday morning.
The Health Ministry said going into the water at the surfer's beach, near the Limnological Research Center and at Bat Galim at that time will endanger health.
The public should follow sea-water quality reports and not go into the water before it is safe, the ministry said.
