Canada: Israeli's body found in suitcase

Man's partner turns himself in to Ottawa police after suitcase found, charged with second-degree murder.

The body of a 29-year-old Israeli man was found stuffed into a suitcase in a street in Montreal over the weekend.
A suspect was apprehended and was charged on Saturday with second-degree murder.
The suspect, a 33-year-old, who was apparently the man's life partner, allegedly killed him and got rid of his body by stuffing it into the suitcase and putting it on a street corner. About 15 hours later, he turned himself in to police in Ottawa.
The body was first found when a passerby alerted police to a foot he saw protruding out of a suitcase left in the snow near a guest house.
Canadian police said the two lived near Ottawa and assessed that the murder took place in a hotel around Montreal following an argument.
