0.5m. counterfeit euros, dollars found in Serbia

Serbian police said Thursday they have discovered more than half a million counterfeit euros and dollars, allegedly printed in Germany. The police said in a statement they have arrested a 25-year old man from northern Serbia on suspicion of forging the money. During the search of the suspect's flat, the officers found €581,800 ($798,753) and $80,200 (€58,416), the statement said. Police said the fake money was printed in Germany on paper originally used in the former Yugoslavia.
