Afghan soldier, child killed in suicide car bomb attack in Afghanistan

A suicide car bomber detonated his explosives near a convoy of Afghan troops on Friday, killing one soldier and a child who was nearby. Another four soldiers and a child were also wounded in the attack in central Ghazni province, said provincial Gov. Faizullah Faizan. The latest attack comes a day after a suicide car bomb targeting a NATO convoy left three soldiers lightly wounded in eastern Khost province, and a bungled suicide attack hurt two civilians in southwestern Nimroz province.
