Albright concerned about US policy in Middle East

Former US Secretary of State Madeline Albright on Sunday welcomed Iraq's new government, but said she was concerned that American involvement in the volatile region could be recorded as "the biggest disaster in US foreign policy." Albright is in Britain to promote her new book, The Mighty and the Almighty, which looks at the role of religion in international relations. She told the British Broadcasting Corp. that while the formation of the new government was a positive step, there were still concerns in that the parliament hasn't been able to name ministers for defense and the interior. Albright said she was "very worried" about Iraq - and that the nation to gain the most out of the turmoil in the country was neighboring Iran.
