Algerian police arrest suspects in terror attack

Algerian authorities have arrested those believed responsible for organizing deadly terrorist attacks last month, a leading newspaper reported Tuesday. A group called Al-Qaida in Islamic North Africa claimed responsibility for the April 11 attacks in Algiers, which killed 33 people and wounded 57. Algerian security services have arrested people accused of "logistical preparations" for the attacks, and some of them were brought before prosecutors on Sunday, the El-Watan newspaper reported. It did not say how many people were arrested.
