The London-based rights watchdog Amnesty International expressed concern Tuesday about what it called fresh instances of torture by Jordanian authorities against militants detained in the country's jails.
Amnesty expressed concern that one defendant, Osama Abu-Hazim, along with three other militants had been convicted by Jordan's military court after confessions it said were "allegedly extracted under torture."
It also claimed that the men were denied legal representation during their interrogations.
Jordanian officials were not immediately available for comment.
