Argentine rocker Charly Garcia denies attacking 2 men with guitar

Argentine rocker Charly Garcia, famed for equipment-smashing antics and onstage outbursts, has been accused of hitting two Colombian men with a guitar and spent four hours in jail Thursday. After a scuffle at a Buenos Aires bar, Garcia was detained as officials investigated allegations he acted aggressively and caused minor injuries, federal police said. The performer was released before a flood of TV lights. Garcia allegedly descended from a stage and struck the Colombians with the instrument, police said. But Garcia denied hitting them, telling Colombia's Caracol radio one of the men ran into his guitar. "There wasn't any aggression," he said, downplaying the episode as "idiotic."
