Belgium: Thousands to demand release of IDF troops
By JPOST.COM STAFF
Thousands of Jewish students are expected to protest on Wednesday in front of the EU parliament in Brussels in an effort to expedite the efforts to bring about the release of kidnapped IDF soldiers Eldad Regev, Ehud Goldwasser and Gilad Shalit.
The rally will be led by the soldiers' family members who left Israel on Tuesday and have already met with Chairman of the Belgian parliament Herman De Croo, who is considered a close friend of his Lebanese counterpart and Hizbullah ally Nabieh Berri, Army Radio reported. De Croo promised to personally take the matter up with Berri.
