NATO says an explosion has killed two soldiers and one civilian in eastern Afghanistan.
An alliance statement said two other soldiers were wounded when the blast hit troops on patrol in Khost province Wednesday.
It didn't release the soldiers' nationalities. Most of the foreign troops in that area are American.
Elsewhere in the country, six police officers were killed in attacks.
According to an Associated Press count, over 1,200 people, mostly militants, have died so far this year in insurgency-related violence in Afghanistan.
