Bodies of 3 Pakistani soldiers recovered near Afghan border

Officials recovered the bullet-riddled bodies of three Pakistani soldiers kidnapped by Islamic militants this week near the border with Afghanistan, security officials said Thursday. The men were among four Frontier Corps personnel who went missing Tuesday from Razmak, a town in the troubled region of North Waziristan, where remnants of al-Qaida and Taliban are believed to be hiding. "Their bullet-riddled bodies were spotted last night," an area security official said on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media. He said they were being flown by helicopter to Miran Shah, the main town in the region.
