A bomb exploded in a city near Pakistan's capital on Monday, killing three people, state television reported.
The blast occurred on Mall Road, a busy thoroughfare in Rawalpindi, said Zahid Mahmood, a city police officer.
State-run Pakistan Television said three people had died in the explosion. It didn't identify the victims.
There was no immediate confirmation of other TV reports that an army vehicle had been damaged.
