Bomb threat called in from plane at US airport

A passenger on a parked commuter plane with 33 people on board reported a bomb threat Friday by cell phone, and emergency vehicles and minibuses parked around the plane. Authorities had not verified whether there is a bomb on the American Eagle plane sitting on a runway far from the passenger terminal, said Scott Wilson, an FBI spokesman in Cleveland, Ohio. The plane had 30 passengers and three crew members on board, and no injuries were reported, said American Eagle spokeswoman Andrea Huguely. The plane had pushed away from the terminal and was getting ready to take off for Chicago when the emergency call was made about 10:30 a.m., said Huguely.
