Thousands of people marched Sunday through Brussels to protest Israel's military campaign against Hizbullah in Lebanon, chanting anti-Israeli and anti-American slogans and demanding an immediate halt to the fighting.
Some 7,500 people took part in the three-hour march through the city center, police said. The protesters waved Lebanese flags and chanted "Bush and Olmert are assassins" and "Lebanon burns and the world is watching."
