Bush: Iraqis must choose between `chaos or unity'

US President George W. Bush on Tuesday decried the latest surge in sectarian violence in Iraq and declared that for Iraqis "the choice is chaos or unity." Five attacks rocked Baghdad on Tuesday, killing more than 40 people, continuing a recent surge of violence. Bush spoke after an Oval Office meeting with Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, shortly before was to leave for a five-day trip to India and Pakistan. "Obviously there are some who are trying to sow the seeds of sectarian violence," Bush said. "They destroy in order to create chaos. And now, the people of Iraq and their leaders must make a choice. The choice is chaos or unity, the choice is a free society, or a society dictated by evil people who would kill innocents."
