President George W. Bush talked with the leaders of Saudi Arabia and Egypt on Friday about the war in Iraq and the long-stalemated search for peace between Israel and the Palestinians. Bush thanked King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia and President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt for their countries' participation last weekend in an international conference in Iraq. Bush also spoke about Lebanon and Iran, White House press secretary Tony Snow said. Snow said Bush also talked with Mubarak about an upcoming trip by Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to the Middle East.
