Bush: US questions Russian commitment to democracy

Russia has sent "mixed signals" that "cause us to question their commitment to whether or not they intend to become a true democracy, where there's a freedom of the press, or freedom of religion, all the different freedoms that are inherent in democracy," said President George W. Bush on Sunday.
He added that the United States was concerned with Putin "using his oil companies to achieve what appears to be political objectives."
