Canadian PM speaks out against anti-Semitics

"The remembrance of what happened over 60 years ago is not enough, we must go against those who call for the destruction of Israel," said Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper. Harper made the statement in a ceremony commemorating Holocaust Remembrance Day in Ottawa, Canada. Harper added that the world must condemn every act of terror stemming from anti-Semitism. As Canada's prime minister, Harper took a pro-Israeli stance, and his foreign policy on Middle East issues has been widely criticized as being out of line with the sentiments of many Canadians.
