China quake death toll rises to 41,353

The death toll from China's earthquake has risen above 41,000. Cabinet spokesman Guo Weimin said Wednesday that 41,353 people died in the May 12 quake. He told reporters that another 32,666 remained missing. Officials have previously said they expect the final death toll from the magnitude 7.9 quake to surpass 50,000.
