Coalition soldier killed in Afghanistan

A soldier from the US-led coalition was killed during a battle between suspected Taliban militants and coalition forces in a volatile southern region of Afghanistan, the coalition said. The battle in the town of Sangin in Helmand province took place Tuesday evening, the US military said in a statement.
