Cyprus: Israelis let go after entering closed zone

Two Israelis were released by a military court in Turkish-controlled Northern Cyprus on Friday after being fined for entering a closed military zone. Nir Baruch, 21, and Omer Ginsburg, 22, were arrested on Tuesday for entering the abandoned coastal town of Varosha without permission. The court fined them each 150 Turkish liras (about $110) after they cooperated with the authorities and admitted their offense.
