Drug kingpin to be deported to US from Israel

Underworld figure Ze'ev Rosenstein is to be deported on Monday to the United States. Police will accompany him to Ben-Gurion airport, where he will board a civilian flight to New York and then transfer to Miami, where his trial is to take place. Rosenstein is accused of smuggling 1.6 million pills of ecstasy, a popular party drug, from Europe to the United States. His trial is expected to last only a few days, Army Radio reported. "I'm not afraid of anybody," Rosenstein told Yediot Ahronot. "I fear only God. Never has there been such a horrific case of the law so grossly distorting and bending facts."
