ElBaradei to urge Rice to compromise on Iran nukes

International Atomic Energy Agency Chief Muhammed ElBaradei was scheduled to meet United States Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice on Tuesday to try to convince her to reach a compromise over Iran's nuclear program. Meanwhile, representatives of the five permanent UN Security Council member states, as well as Germany were scheduled to convene in London in order to formulate the incentive package that would be offered to Iran in exchange for its cooperation, Israel Radio reported. If Iran will reject the offer, as it rejected the European Union's package, the representatives were expected to discuss punitive measures.
