Explosion kills NATO soldier in S. Afghanistan

A bomb explosion caused a NATO vehicle to crash, killing one soldier and wounding three in southern Afghanistan, officials said Thursday. The bomb hit a reconnaissance patrol in Helmand province, causing the NATO vehicle to crash, a statement from the International Security Assistance Force said. One of the soldiers died, one was seriously wounded and two suffered minor injuries. ISAF did not disclose the nationality of the soldier killed. Most of the troops operating in Helmand province are British.
