Famous US 'Hiccup Girl' found by mother

The 15-year-old Florida girl whose marathon case of hiccups made international news earlier this year was found safe by her mother about 14 hours after she was reported missing. Jennifer Mee was found walking about 3 kilometers from her home, her mother Rachel Robidoux said. "She had been at a friend's house at one point," Robidoux said. "She had also been walking the streets aimlessly, not knowing where to go." Mee's struggles with chronic hiccups, up to 50 times a minute for months, made her an Internet sensation and darling of morning television news shows, who aggressively fought to book the middle school student for interviews.
