France confirms discovery of Israeli envoy's body

French defense officials have confirmed Saturday that a body found in the Seine River on Wednesday does in fact belong to head of the Israeli defense delegation to France, David Dahan, who went missing one month ago. Dahan left behind notes that indicated he was considering suicide, police sources in France said. Dahan was appointed the temporary head of the ministry's European mission after Eli Finko was recalled to Tel Aviv to head up a new defense export supervision committee. Yaakov Katz contributed to this report.
