French Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin announced late Wednesday that his nation would do all that was within its power to ensure Israel's security. He also said that France's relations with Israel were of the highest priority.
De Villepin made this remarks to Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni, who was visiting a number of European nations, Israel Radio reported.
