Georgia: Ethnic cleansing nearly done in South Ossetia

The ethnic cleansing of Georgians from the separatist province of South Ossetia has nearly been completed, Georgian Foreign Minister Eka Tkeshelashvili said Thursday. She said Georgians had been cleared from their homes across the disputed territory. In some villages, Georgians had lived alongside South Ossetians. She did not specify who she was accusing of carrying it out. She was speaking Thursday in Vienna at the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe.
