Police raided apartments of suspected neo-Nazis in three German states Tuesday, seizing swastika flags, ski masks and fake pistols.
The raids centered on the Oberlausitz area of the eastern state of Saxony, near the Polish border, where 20 apartments were searched. Other residences were searched in the state capital, Dresden, and in the southern states of Bavaria and Baden-Wuerttemberg.
Police said four men, between ages 20 and 30, are being investigated on suspicion of spreading racial hatred and possession of banned Nazi materials.
