Greece on Thursday said it was willing to transport aid to Lebanon gathered by EU countries, using navy ships docked in Cyprus.
Greece has sent about 70 tons of aid to Lebanon since fighting began on July 12, and evacuated more than 2,000 people.
"In consultation with the Cypriot government, we have told our European partners that we are willing to transport aid they have gathered from the (Cypriot) port of Larnaca," Deputy Foreign Minister Evripidis Stylianidis said.
Greece has used two navy frigates and a landing to transport aid so far. Several Greek ferries were also been chartered by European governments in the evacuation effort.
