Police say the number of car burnings in France has dropped to 159 overnight as of 4 a.m., down from 162 at the same time a night earlier.
On the 20th night of unrest across France, most of the violence continued to be in the provinces outside of Paris where 132 cars cars were burned, the national police said. In the Paris region, 27 cars were torched.
