Indonesian passenger train jumps tracks, killing 5

A crowded carriage of an Indonesian passenger train derailed and plunged into a dry river bed on Tuesday, killing five people and injuring more than 250 others, a police officer said.
The accident occurred just after midnight close to the central Javanese town of Purokerto, said police Sgt. Sunaryro, who goes by a single name.
