Jordan and Iraq to discuss combatting terrorism

Terrorists in Iraq threaten the rest of the region, an Iraqi cabinet official said here before the start of a meeting on security cooperation between Baghdad and Jordanian officials. Iraq's Deputy Foreign Minister Labid Abbawi said "our aim is to consolidate cooperation in means of combating terrorists and their networks and activities." "This problem would not be confined to Iraq as such, but it might also affect all the nations in the region," said Abbawi, who is a member of the delegation.
